Wolmer's Road Relay Highlights

GC Foster College won both men's and women's sections of the Wolmer's Ocean Spray WATA Road Relay (4 half laps) around Heroes Circle on Sunday, November 20, 2011.

GC Foster 'A' clocked 10 minutes 50.45 seconds to win the women's event, while the men's 'A' team, won in a time of nine minutes 11.95 seconds.

In the High Scool sections, St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) and Kingston College (KC) 'B' posted 10 minutes 55.89 seconds and nine minutes 21.37 seconds, respectively for victories.

Gregory Park Primary took the girls section in 13 minutes 20.58 seconds while Central Branch All Age crossed the finish line in 14:47.96 for the boys' title in the lower age gorup sections.

Meanwhile, Kirk Brown, who battled with Ruper Green right up to the 4K mark, and Alethia McLaughlin were the 5k road race male and female winners respectively.
Brown took victory in 15 minutes and 8 seconds ahead of Green (15:93) and Andre Headley of GC Foster College (16:03) while McLaughlin won the female section in 19 minutes, 41.29 seconds ahead of Arieta Martin (20:00.65) and Ashante Roberts (20:29.30).
