First and not last tribute to the King of Pop. The sad death of a genius caught me unaware working on his album "Thriller" which will be eventually covered from first song to the last.
Great work from Mr. Chancler. The drum arrangement starts with the easiest pop rhythm a drummer could play, and he later adds two timbric "motifs", the floor tom and the open hi-hat, to bring some diversity over the overdubbed percussion. Excellent production from Quincy Jones, with capital "E".

Totalmente de acuerdo... es un tipo de batería simple, pero lo complicado es mantener el tiempo del hi hat a la perfección. El efecto del tom3 queda de puta madre... por cierto, con qué programa de video y audio grabas??? Cuando he intentado grabar algo, el ordenador ha petado por todos lados!!!! Gracias one!! A ver te explico: yo grabo audio y vídeo por separado. El audio lo grabo con Windows Audio Recorder, el que viene por defecto. Lo más probable es que al grabar el sonido se sature, por lo que hay que bajar la ganancia de la toma del micrófono del pc (desde el panel de control/sonidos/grabar/propiedades/niveles) y además bajar el volumen de la batería a 1/4 más o menos. Mientras grabas lo oyes muy bajito pero luego subes el volumen en la mezcla final.

Para el vídeo hago varias tomas y las mezclo con Sony Vegas y Movie Maker pa los títulos y créditos.
Aún así sigo probando cosillas, como montajes y efectos.
