Brahms's 4th Symphony was given its premiere in public on October 25th, 1885, but it had been given to a private audience in a version for two pianos before. Stenzl Pianoduo plays its 4th movement on two historical instruments by Bachmann respectively Streicher in this video.


2台ピアノ版によるブラームスの交響曲第4番第4楽章

ブラームスの第4交響曲は1885年10月25日に公の場で初演されましたが、それ以前に2台ピアノ版が仲間内で初演されました。シュテンツル・ピアノデュオがそれぞれバ­ッハマンとシュトライヒャーによる2台の歴史的楽器で第4楽章を弾いています。

  • Sometimes I hear orchestras ending in a minor key but others end with a major key and I think the latter sounds better!
