i think the mandolin is in an open tuning, capo'd on the 3 fret, which is G chord.

no,, he's not.. the capo is on the 5yth fret.. but his fingers are on the first 4 frets... it's impossible to play.. hahaha... but it's cute

lol no he isn't really playing. Look at this hands at 1:29. That is not a chord lol. And you don't play above the capo. Even if he actually made a chord the capo would mute it because his hand is above it.
