Sure, you can get whatever gui you want. LFS means creating Linux from Scratch so you can build your system exactly the way you want - you just have to do everything your self.

The startup time is a little slow for my liking but much faster than any other Linux distro and any version of windows.

it's not a radar detector..
it's a morse signal.but i guess not in HF band.
Probably a beacon.
