This 1924 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost is the very car that Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan, rode in along with Lord Mountbatton to sign the Pakistan Resolution on Aug 14th, 1947. The segment is taken from a TV show called "Carnama" directed by Agha Abbas.

  • Is the car now in Pakistan or India, can you please clarify?

  • Lovely car! Thumbs up!

  • I M glad the car is in good hands :)

  • I've heard that these cars could be started by priming the carburetor, turning the engine backwards slightly until resistance is felt then turning the buzz coils on. I believe the same thing could be done to an old Briggs & Stratton "A" running on a buzz coil, but my engine is long gone and I haven't been able to try it, not having one at the time anyway.
