  • @OSCALETRAINGUY That is normal, yes.

If you black out, the train stops itself. Called "Dead mans grip". It is a pedal you have to push down to keep Manual control. If you dont push it down, the train will automaticly break after 7 seconds.

  • I find odd no one else with you i cab? is this normal?

what happens if you BLACK out?? A+ vid.

  • Beautiful video and thank you for posting. Im an engineer(driver) for AMTRAK. Unfortunately we can not have any electronic device in the cab with us.

  • Varför piper det?

  • it's my childhood dream to travel onboard the x2000 btw stockholm and goteborg. i hope one day it will become reality! great video, and your iphone camera did an amazing job! r u a traindriver?

  • Mycket bra filmklipp! gärna lite mer x2 körning :)

  • Oops...forgot to say, also, it looks like they put in a fence at Mölnbo near the old station house and road too. I wonder if Banverket is watching my videos and looking for things to upgrade. ;)

  • Tack! Thank you for posting this. I often wondered what the Hölövägen crossing and detector at KM 54 looked from inside the cab. I see that within the last year, they must have removed the older Servo/SATT detector on the northbound side of the tracks and replaced it completely with the new style FUES detector. I also see that the tree removal project has been completed to keep the fallen trees off the tracks. Again, thank you for posting this!
