Whew! After many, MANY crashes I got a very quick and dirty demo done. Here it is, for the most part.
- Bullet collision implemented.
- AUTO--MOVE. I DID THE AUTO MOVE.
- Under the hood stuff
- Projectwide improvements
- OSX build
- Dialogue window started

  • @joxpify: In a nutshell - the goal is to replace the original program with one that works better (Original Morrowind had major problems), can be changed by anyone, and doesn't require piggybacking workarounds like the MWSE and MGE. All you need is the original data from your own game.

  • Absolute brilliance. For a group of volunteers to achieve this amount of progress on such a complex project is downright incredible. I'm just now learning about OpenMW, and it just blows me away.

  • @IgnatzKolisch: Things are much more in order and productive since we reorganized the project. I have to say that I wouldn't mind contributing more code and more time to learning the APIs and systems if I had the resources.

  • @joxpify An open source re-implementation of Morrowind? Play the game without rebooting or WINE or suchlike on Mac OS X or Linux? Improved graphic effects? Improved gameplay? Does all the stuff MWSE, MCP and MGE does in one program?

  • Amazing, I'm having a look into the project, maybe even help developing. I loved Morrowind. A LOT!

  • Looking to learn C++ this year, as I know nothing about it. If I end up becoming well-acquainted with it, I'll gladly help out, though I'll probably end up just playing Skyrim.

  • Makes me wish I could program. If/when this fully comes to fruition, I'll have to make some Morrowind mods. Here's to hoping it revitalizes the modding scene.
