To All Of the BOONE GANG(you know who you are): This is for you fine people that I am honored to call friends. This melody is a tribute to the people you all became, and a testament to how we were. Here's to you Friends!

Boone: for those whom have never been to this NC dream, I recommend a trip there. Yeah, the town it once was is no more, and it wasn't just App State whooping Michigan on the field last year, its been changing up there for a long time. Its like the town and university are cancerous growths that the valley can barely contain nowadays----ah but there is real beauty still there. And I get a feeling that beauty will always be there, long after Boone and App State are just memories...
I was there when our football team beat Furman on Black Saturday, gawd, like 5 years ago. App picked off a 2-pt att at the end of the game to run it back for the game winning score. Yeah. My friend, and roommate at the time, Jeremiah, had to drag me to that, my first home football game there in Boone. We helped tear the goalpost down and carry it out of the stadium, busting up an ambulance along the way, threw that thing in Duck Pond, then those crazy bastards pulled it out and we carried it all the way around campus to the Mall, where the other people started breaking the goalposts apart. Ahhhhhh....
And the kids there now think they are doing something carrying it up to the dean's house...lol. Well, I was there supporting that football team when they weren't Big House Assassins. History baby, its more than just a high school subject.
my other roommate back then, Jeremy, got me a job working at Pizza Hut, which guess what, is now called the Library or whatever that bar is. I worked at the Lone Star that got shut down (Yay!) and Nikki got me a job at that theatre in town, the 2 dollar one. Ah. I miss that whole place man. Everybody that worked there (except Nikki) was Josh, Jacob, Me(Jeff), Jessica, Phillip, and (drum roll) PAUL, PAULA, and POLLY! All J's and P's man. That town is crazy man....But notice, without my friends, that town would have killed me. Thanks to you all, I know I didn't name everybody but I don't know how everyone feels about being connected like that...Either way, I am in debt to you all. So if Hell ever comes calling for a debt you may owe it, come find me, friend. My Money's Always Good Down There lol...
And know what, I hope all you crazed sorostitutes are taking care of Cone Hall, ya'll will never believe the depravity I witnessed there with my good buddy Tripp.
