I say four rotor,pilot sits under in tubular roll cage,fly by wire,light chomoly construction or aluminum,carbon,electric power,Quad rotors are very stable platforms,2 rotors are very difficult to control,must have advanced fly by wire.

He can go for as long as he has fuel. But apparently it can go 30 miles in 30 minutes on 5 gallons of gasoline
