3D Flyover of the Harbor District Commerical Center

The Harbor District will feature a vibrant commercial center that provides convenient access to community services. To reduce vehicle traffic, a mass transit system will provide efficient access to the community center from the surrounding campus and residential communities.

The KAUST Harbor District will contain retail and residential spaces, including: a super market, a post office, a bank, a theater, a dry cleaner, a public library, a gas station and car wash, restaurants, cafes and retail stores, and Safaa Center, featuring retail shops, a theater, a cafe, cinemas that can be converted for theatrical presentations, and seating for up to 250 guests in each of its two rooms.
