The American Fork High School Marching Band competed at the Bridgerland Band Invitational held on October 15, 2011 at the Utah State University Campus. American Fork got all four of the Caption Awards and FIRST PLACE.
@theclariguardgeek I'm a critic as well... but I love watching other bands anyways. :)
Mountain Crest? Cool! Just so you know, I loved your show and thought you should have been in Finals! Not that any of the bands in it shouldn't have made it, but we all thought you were one of the top bands there. Those BOA judges are crazy! :)
@skilynnclari Oh you're very welcome! =) Haha oh well, we showed a clip from Batman Begins and it worked just fine. Yeah, being a judge would be a real task, but I'm kind of a critic when I watch bands =P I'm from Mountain Crest =) I'm usually careful about my info I share but I think anyone who went to my profile could tell where I'm from.
@theclariguardgeek As someone who performed in this, thanks a million! This just made my day. :) That's too bad about your school project. And you are right, everyone did do amazing here. I'm glad I'm not a judge! So what band are you from? (If you don't want to say, that's fine, I completly understand. :) )
I wanted to use this for a psychology project! Haha the only problem is there aren't enough band nerds in my class for it to have worked. You guys did great, I think everyone performed amazing at this competition =D
The show is about conflict of the mind- from peaceful moments to insanity. All the visuals and back and forth drill and what not are supposed to portray that.
I've commented on a couple of videos with this inquiry: There are some neat moments in this show, but what is it about? It's so vague...the crowds don't quite know what to do with it, and neither do I. I guess I'm just not enough of a marching band junkie. Please help! I have received zero responses so far.

Without a doubt that was our best thus far. We need to top that at Davis.
