Animated Text With Photoshop

I'm trying to show the basic operation of the animation feature which is the same thing as Image Ready basically.

Nice. This was exactly what I wanted to find, and yours was the first video I came to! One question: Does Photoshop compress this GIF when it's saved, or do you end up with a file size equal to the sum of the separate images?

It won't animate it after I saved it. Probably it's because gif format doesn't appear in my drop down list. Any tips on how to make it appear? Thanks.
