@ThePracticalTheorist Easy to see the style difference, in the list on the right should be a video title beginning with "Early Corvair..." The car in this video is I believe a '65, certainly the late version of the car.
@125AXer I may have got my facts wrong here but... what year is that car? I thought it was an early one, please correct me if I am wrong :) I am aware of the later independent rear suspension, and I`ve even driven one which I was very impressed with. I was impressed by the whole car actually, and its very high on my list of "American cars I want to own before I die".
@ThePracticalTheorist Late model (1965 - 1969) Corvairs had independent rear suspensions, not swing axles like the early (1960 - 1964) cars. It worked very well. There were later modifications designed aftermarket that further improved on the already excellent design.
Hey if any one out there knows David tell him Matthew Smith the one that had to leave the crashed corvair pick up from Iowa at his house is on line now and i still have my corvairs.
