What about the inability of the EVA to natively integrate iSCSI, 8GB FC, FCOE, 10GE, NAS and any other futures not readily available today. EMC and NetApp have figured that one out!

Yeah like moving a LUN from FC drives to the new Flash drives just to name one? Try that on an EVA. Easy? Hardly.

I'm in favor of products like the EVA with CommandView that can reduce the potential for human error. Having a safety net while storage admins are tinkering with production arrays is a good idea.
