@Ryoketsu the reason that people bring it up is because they like to seem knowledgeable about things they're not. because youtube has helped candyrat reach a large audience people basically don't know any other labels with this kind of music, like windham hill or prophase. but candyrats artists are absolutely amazing no doubt and the people saying this guy is too good for them have no idea what it means to be a musician. it's not a competition. there are so many guitarists, only 30 on candyrat

I hate when an amazing guitarist has no songwriting ability whatsoever.

Fortunately, Jon Gomm is the best damn guitarist I've ever heard AND a phenomenal songwriter. Plus he's an incredible singer and I love his lyrics. I mean.. He has the ability to make me talk for days about how much I love his music and feel speechless at the same time. I just can't tell you how good I think this guy is.

Have you considered that maybe this guy isn't interested in Candyrat? It's not like they're a good publisher whatsoever, I haven't heard of a single artist ever through them, I just happen to find them myself and go. Oh hey, Andee Mckee is part of that too.
