OMG, Im having exactly the same trouble, but It happened after I installed winXP64 and GTX280 in sli, so I thought it was the 64 OS, but then I installed BF2142 on WinXP(32) and it worked for a few hours, then I get those weird squares, and in explotions i get like checkers screen (black&white squares) Maybe its a driver thing in my GTX280's. I don't know.. help!

What does that mean? "RMAing"...
Still warrenty. But its funny cause all other high'detailed games are run fine.
Thanks for answer :)
OKAY, QUESTION!
This seems VERY fucked.
Im also playing with a 8800 GTX and it makes some very weird squares, often when i die or in explosions or stuff like that.
Also, sometimes the map just gets bright like hell.
Is it the drivers or what?
It happened after i installed far cry 2.
Thx

What fixed my issue was RMAing the card. Talk to the manufacturer if it's still under warranty.

Nope, it's all Crotchduster.

Yeah, I've got a 7900 GT/OC, underclocking it temporarily fixed the problem, RMAing the whole card fixed the problem completely. Some of the older 7900 GT's also had some RAM corruption issues which manifested themselves in Vista in the form of magenta fading stripes, cyan clusters of what look like dead pixels, as well as black and white lines. Those are the problems I was talking about with Vista last month. It's all gone now though.
