Fvck you! Because of the green party's interference, republicans have now the upper hand. I agree with your ideals. However, ideals don't trump reality. Our reality is that this country is full of right wing nut jobs who only care for themselves and vote. Your party's interference cost us several seats. Most Democrats who lost didn't even have Green Party candidates running against them. They lost because Obama and his staff made fun of progressives, and didn't fight hard enough for progressive meat and potatoes issues, which lead to low turnout.

First, Marx didn't come up with the concept of a vanguard party, Lenin did. Second, the system in the Soviet Union & co. wasn't socialism. Third, yeah I guess Marxism has been totally refuted. Capitalism isn't going into crisis anymore, markets have led to untold amounts of human freedom, and capitalists will be able to make profitable investments forever.

Obviously, a socialist alternative makes no sense at all in light of this current, wonderful system that we all enjoy.

Isn't the Green party in the USA pretty much powerless, hence the reason why America is in the shit, while other western nations, eg. Germany and Australia, with strong Green party representation, are kicking arse.

I feel sorry for all the smart Americans were have to put up with America's crappy unrepresentative democracy, where minority parties are completely excluded, where a vote for the Greens = a vote for the Republicans by depriving votes from the Democrats.

@LeftPolitiko The government overspends on corporate welfare, 100s of billions to a few companies. Its skimming. All presidents are like JohnGotti. The boss. Its all about personal finances. The people in power skim. Its all about loot. Getting yours while you can because look at Jefferson and Lincoln. They both died broke in debt. You have to get your while you can. Some of the ex presidents and former first ladies use to sell off white house artifacts and furniture. All for money.

the best thing the green party could change is its name. the green party sounds to most people like some treehugger one issue party that only cares about the environment and has no opinion on any other issues. don't get me wrong i consider myself a green, but the truth is it will never have the momentum to gain a huge following if its name leaves an unwanted first impression in people's heads
