April 5th, 1997 on an Indian reservation in the hills of Mecca CA, a Rave party called Dune II was held. In total, around 10,0000 people attended. I was surfing the net one night and came across these 4 footage files, which were posted by "Old School Rava" a few years back. Although I was there, I did not tape it. So sit back and relax or just reminisce. You might just see yourself on video! I sure did.

  • I was there...I had recently moved to CA from South Africa. I remember that night Hale Bopp was visible all night. A spiritual experience for sure. I don't think any event has come close since. Those of us who were there and who experienced it are fortunate...we all shared something special that night.

  • I would kill to go to an 'old school' rave...

  • And that wasn't a fail proof dj set up either. Back in our day you had to mix live with vinyl and no beat matching software. You had to do it yourself. Image that.
