  • first: Shure SM58 is not a bass drum microphone. Shure have made the bass drum microphone Beta52A.

Second: The Samson Q kick is maybe cheep, but sound bad.

If you want a good bass drum microphone then i will recommend Shure Beta52A or AKG D112

    Tks for the class....lol

I've made this video only for my ebay action for this Samson mic.

I sold it because my new mic is a Shure SM52B.

This comparison was made only because many people use the wrong mic for instruments....

Samson is a cheep mic, but sound better than a mic that was not made for drums, right?

Tell me, what is the difference between those mics? And isn't it main thing that how it sound - even if it was a headset mic. And Samson sounds quite good, as you can hear.

  • In my opinnion the Samson QKick sound very great :)

  • Cool dog :)
