All wrong. the literal translation is Näinä mustina iltoina = On these black evenings
-
Beautiful. Even without the translation
-
Näinä mustina iltoina = "During these dark evenings"
-
actually ILTOINA means ON THESE EVENINGS
-
Name on this song translates "On these dark nights".
-
Ah damn, the lyrics went upside down because I had to post it in parts.. Well, that's what the song's about, winter and the darkest nights of the year. My translation skills aren't the best but hope that helped a bit. :)

inside the late night guest is being waited they don't notice when I go outside the weather is getting colder lanterns light the familiar trees and bushes the lights get closer the car slows down turns to the yard the door opens it snows... I look at the clock, then to the sky where stars draw bands at these year's darkest nights
-
"at these dark nights"
the ground isn't white yet
but in the south it snows much already
the weather is getting colder
lanterns light the familiar trees and bushes
I look at the clock, then to the sky
where stars draw bands
at these year's darkest nights
