  • i seen em both and i think they are actually equally great....they improved on some of the dead spots in the movie and gave her a smartass sense of humor that i thought was cool... oh and not to mention the cool ass cafe racer motorcycles that they put in the american version... cant wait for the next american on

  • Too goddamn beautiful is right! She's gorgeous just as she is talented!

  • The swedish version is better!

  • @Lukestar1991 Normally I would agree, but Fincher is a brilliant director, and I am sure he can make the American version justice. However I would prefer him and any other director to make original movies, not remakes

  • @DancesWithDinos still its going to suck

  • @1laughinggravy It isn't a remake. You people can't get it through your thick skulls. Yes it is the same story and same characters, but it is simply an American adaptation of the original novel. Not a remake of the Swedish film. Refusing to give it a chance is ignorant and unfair to the very talented artists involved. If you love the story, you should give it a chance. The character wasn't written for Noomi. She nailed it, yes. But that doesn't mean she's the only person who can do it well.

  • @claclarolo1 Oh I see.

  • @pinkjuicy82 i know, but the director said "how can i make this woman ugly". just sayin tht in the books, she isnt.

  • @claclarolo1 OMG! Noomi is not ugly either.

  • Noomi Rapace IS The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo. I read all three books, and I can't imagine ANY other actor playing this part than she. She is just OUTSTANDING. I loved this character, and Noomi Rapace nailed every nuance of who she was and and how she coped with injustice, stupidity, and prejudice. I won't watch a remake, because it couldn't possibly be as good as the original.
