Canada Calling! - Are you there ?

The name Canada comes from a St. Lawrence Iroquoian word, kanata, meaning "village" or "settlement". In 1535, indigenous inhabitants of the present-day Quebec City region used the word to direct French explorer Jacques Cartier towards the village of Stadacona. Cartier later used the word Canada to refer not only to that particular village, but also the entire area subject to Donnacona (the chief at Stadacona); by 1545, European books and maps had begun referring to this region as Canada.

I wouldn't mind if the pictures lingered a bit longer before changing to another beautiful scene but maybe that's just because I've been to some of the places and want to get as closer look at them again.

O' Canada O' Canada! :D .....and it's not far for me to see some of these sites face to face. I'm just 2 hours from the border and about 5 hours drive from Lake Louise and Banf in the Canadian Rockies w/ Calgary a hop and skip away. I love taking the Ferry to Victoria on the big Island from Vancouver, one of the most gorgeous and diverse cities on earth! Thanks Ruzbe!!! ^_^ .....plus we import their best music artists, actors and people like Zac from Canada too! ;)
