May 22 2009 Glen Canyon and Page Arizona Flooding

Page saw 2 inches of rain on may 22 09. This produced widespread flooding in the surrounding areas. The video was taken standing on the Glen Canyon Bridge looking south down the canyon, and at two main access roads to Page. This type of flooding is rare for the area and especially this time of year. Enjoy! (Shot with Sanyo FH1, original footage was 1920X1080, resized and compressed to 1280X720)

The video is much better than what your seeing here. This has been resized and compressed. Original is 1920X1080 @ 60fps, now its 1280X720 @ 30fps and wmv compression. Its a great camera.

nice vid. im from north carolina. me my mom and grandpa took vac in page... in january three yrs ago. my grandpa built one of the two tour boats and one or two of the house boats u can rent on lake powell. i wanna come back but not in january!!! TO FREAKIN COLD.......
