A sneak peek at the third show of the Hunger Artists Theatre Company's 2008 season, Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical "Company".
Often seen as the show that ushered in the modern era of musical theatre, Company follows Robert, a bachelor on the night of his 35th birthday. In a series of vignettes, Robert has encounters with several women as he contemplates his unmarried state. At his surprise birthday, he looks to his married friends, wondering if being alone is the same as being alive. This minimalist production, directed by company member Susan Marx, features Eric Weigand as Robert, as well as Richard DeVicariis, Sharon Frazier, Anthony Galleran, Judy Gish, Duncan Hutchinson, Abigail Kinnahan, Chris Kipp, Janet McGregor, Tara Pitt, Carrie Theodossin, Katilyn Tice, Wade Wooldridge and Maggie Zamora.
"Company" runs from April 4th through May 4th. Visit www.hungerartists.com for more info on "Company" and the rest of the Hunger Artists Theatre Company's 12th season.
