"Pure Imagination" from the soundtrack to the 1971 movie adaptation of Roald Dahl's book "Charlie and the Chocolate" factory, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory". Originally preformed by Gene Wilder. Written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

The other day, I was driving home from work and this song came up on my playlist. Haven't been able to get it out of my head since. Loved the orchestration and Gene Wilder's take on the song so much but I didn't have an orchestra to sing along to. So I worked up this remedial jazz interpretation.

PS I'll try to remember to turn on the lights in my apartment so the picture isn't so grainy next time!
