111 puppy mill puppies and adult dogs were rescued in Missouri by National Mill Dog Rescue (www.milldogrescue.org) and were transported to animal rescue groups in the Washington, D.C., area for placement in foster homes pending eventual adoption to "forever homes." The lead rescue group receiving the animals was A Forever Home Rescue Foundation (www.aforeverhome.org). This video shows the joyful crowd of animal rescue volunteers as the first rescued dog (an English bulldog) is unloaded from the transportation van.
