They don't say that if you are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS you do not qualify for social security disability or medicare. It costs a minimum of $3500 a month to keep a person with HIV on treatment in the U.S.. There are no generic brand HIV meds available in the U.S.. Most HIV/AIDS facilities are charity, state, city or county funded and are heavily over burdened.

The HIV/AIDS strategy in the U.S. is to make as much money off the sale of the meds while it's possible and a whole lot of propaganda.
