Unfortunately we will not care about the harsh circumstances others face due to our own selfish needs for gluttony and financial gain until it is subjected to ourselves in the final reckoning which may come sooner than most people think when this country finally collapses. By that time the conditions we will face appears to be justified. It's no wonder the entire world hates us. We are too ignorant of our own impact upon the world and/or too selfish to care.

@MADDOG6400 fuck u man dont try to pretend u know anything about why there made over there and not in hear
ever woundered why theres no jobs in america and the uk and EU fucking sheep go back to sleep

@electricfemale NAFTA only counts for trade to Mexico and Canada and we have very little imports from those countries.
-
How much shit can one person need? America signed NAFTA and allowed their businesses to go to these countries and were told they were making these poor peoples lives better, seems no ones lives are better. People making cheap stuff are slaves, people working to buy the stuff are slaves.
-
Buy your shit from Canada its the cleanest place around
-
GODD BLESS CHINA!!!!

in the Soviet Union, all products where made there, almost nothing was imported. No child labour or anything.
-
Make the people work max. 32 hours a week and give them all a raise, and done. the stuff here becomes more expensive but personally i'd rather pay more money for a product so that people that made it can benefit, not the stupid corporations

Your a very ignorant person. you know that. You can keep imagining the guilt isn't there and that's you way of escape but doing that leads to more problems and more ignorance. Your kind of idiots are the reasons we are here. If you ignore the problems you ignore the consequences too leading to more and more. And pointing the blame ain't helping either. Oh and they will never realize. To them this is a a VERY large profit margin while the rake in the millions.

You mentioned in the video that these workers are getting paid, and what these workers are getting paid is usually higher than the average wage of that country; ergo better quality of life. Remember it took the US and EU (us "developed" nations) about 100-120 years to get rid of our sweatshops and child labor, and everything you see around today is the result of that. By boycotting these countries we are denying them the future we're living in today.

And I must say, I have only recently opened my eyes to how my actions impact the world around me. I'm in the process of buying a new wardrobe (donating all my Nike, Adidas, Reebok etc.), and ensuring the food I purchase is local. I am becoming active in political discussion and even though it isn't my major, studying a vast amount of history and current events to keep up to date with challenging the inhumane practices we face today. I woke up, so can you.
But I LOVE HP, Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, and Apple!
Plus, blame USA companies for taking our jobs and sending them to these people.

@MADDOG6400 Why do you ''love'' them?
7JesusChristIsLord7 6 months ago
Dumbass!! If companies stop buying from countries like China or India, we can expect to see the price of a simple dollar store toy to go from 1$ to the upward amount of 10$ and up. We buy from these countries cause it's cheap, not because we love child labor. It's evil but money is more evil.

@Musketeers750 If jobs are then brought here we can afford more. Plus, America was the exporter up and through to the 1970s, 50s-70s American standard of life was better than today. So don't give me that ''dumb***'' talk

Hey, you know if we stop buying they get nothing? I think it is wrong but if the whole world stopped buying from them they would become unemployed and homeless. Do you really want to do that?

@CobbleStoneist It is better we keep our hands out of the evil cycle than feed it. Those poor will get NOWHERE without rights and freedoms, a progressive movement like early 20th century America. So you're NOT really helping them to progress, maybe barely exist. Contributing to the cause of corporatism + ''helping'' people to barely exist? I'd rather not.

@7JesusChristIsLord7 PS that's not to say I haven't bought my fair share of products made by cheap labor, I'm assuming this Toshiba laptop was one =/ But it is wrong and I hope to spread awareness about this, and have made efforts not to contribute to this.
