Texas has no legal right to stop you from carrying a fire arm.If they do not then the state is in violation of your 2CD amendment right,So is Tx a different country with is own law out side of the United states

@canisdormit What an ignorant yahoo. Let me guess-- you're a Rick Perry supporter, right? "Oops!"
-
@luvdomus as I said, perverts like you would use the constitution as toilet paper. You can go to hell.

@canisdormit QUOTE:"Legal restrictions of constitutional rights are forbidden."
What a load. Can you carry weapons such as grenades, missles, bazookas? Atom bombs? Of course there are lreasonable restrictions on "constitutional" rights-- nothing is absolute. The constitution is not a suicide pact.
-
@luvdomus. Legal restrictions of constitutional rights are forbidden. However, people like you pervert the constitution and its the mindset of people like you that will see Americans turned into slaves. You disgust me and your idea of truncating the constitution spits in the face of everyone who has ever sacrificed or died for this country. Shame on you.
-
@canisdormit The constitution does not provide for an indiividual to carry any type of weapons whatsoever-- legal restrictions can and are placed on the arms people may carry because that is the only safe and resonable way to deal with gun nuts like you. we are never going to see an "absolutist" interpretation of the 2nd Amendment.
-
@luvdomus their rights are being violated. The constitution doesnt say right to own a weapon, but to keep and bear arms. The government is forbidding people their right to bear their arms.

I'm all for Open Carry but he isn't on his private property on the first of the video. He is in street right-of-way which is public property. Most property lines start around the back of the sidewalk. Nit picking?? Yeah kinda but it's true and some sleezy lawyer could use it against us. Word to the wise: Be sure you are in fact on your own private property. I'll be so glad when we finally do get open carry here in Texas!!!!
I can't wait for open carry in Texas. It is true that those of us that want opencarry probably spend more time training than LEO. In the past 2 months I have put about 3,000 rounds through my .40 at the range.

Whether you approve of the action or not, the right shouldnt be infringed. It is a right that has been forgotten about and allowed to be regulated. We cannot allow our right to do something (no matter what that something is)to be taken away from us. If we do, where would it stop? I fully support open carry in all states allowing that a basic safety class were taken that would not expire for the life time of the individual. Very similar to the laws here in Texas for hunting.
