"Ordinary Geiger counters, however, will not detect depleted uranium in small amounts, as the alpha and beta particles do not penetrate the Geiger tube window."- Nuclear Chemist Chris Busby

  • "Geiger counters only detect gamma"

false. get out idiot. get off youtube. get off the internet

    you

    twoofer

    Obama voting

    moron

  • Check out the links that I provide in the description box from Chris Busby. He sat on the British Committee Examining Radiation Risks from Internal Emitters. He received his BS in Chemistry with First Class Honours from the University of London and earned a PhD in Chemical Physics from the University of Kent. Obama voter Ha!! Please watch the film Obama Deception and get out of the Left-Right paradigm my friend.

  • I have a Geiger Counter and I can detect uranium all day long. My Geiger Counter detects Gamma, Beta, Alpha, and X-Ray. Look up Thin Window Geiger Meuller tube and Pancake Tube to see GM's detecting alpha. It is hard to detect uranium in the air usings a GM, but it can be done.

  • @antiprotons Uranium and plutonium can be detected with Geiger Counters. But as I understand it, they cannot be detected in small amounts. A sensitive scintillation counter is needed to detect them in small amounts. If you have another relatively inexpensive way of detecting them in small amounts go for it. I do not say that sarcastically I am all for seeing what's floating around in the air.

  • When somebody says something wrong, there is opportunity for the wizards to correct him. What would all the wise people do, without a dumfuck dumbass.

They need the dull and ignorant to bite on them like the dog needs a bone.

  • @IconsOfTeleplay NEJM is not the AMA. more: "Amygdalin is not as non-toxic as claimed, particularly when ingested orally, and especially when taken with plant material high in beta-glucosidase. The claims for cure and control of cancers in humans have been refuted by distinguished physicians who specialize in the treatment of cancer patients. The writings of laetrile [amygdalin] proponents are filled with erroneous and absurd statements. - Cancer. 1980 Feb 15;45(4):799-807.

  • @spinbaba : The A.M.A. lies. Amygdalin is abundant in spinach, therefore death-by-salad-bar should be common. What do you suppose ruminants survive on? Think MAN! For once: THINK!

  • @IconsOfTeleplay "The hazards of amygdalin therapy were evidenced in several patients by symptoms of cyanide toxicity or by blood cyanide levels approaching the lethal range. Patients exposed to this agent should be instructed about the danger of cyanide poisoning, and their blood cyanide levels should be carefully monitored. Amygdalin (Laetrile) is a toxic drug that is not effective as a cancer treatment." - N Engl J Med. 1982 Jan 28;306(4):201-6.

  • Gamma particles emit gamma rays? They ARE gamma rays! Damn *facepalm* this vid is bs

  • They don't detect the element, they detect the radionucliedes they give off artard... Typical anti-government douche spouting misinformation
