The followup to M.U.L.E. on the C64, by the great Dan Bunten and Ozark Softscape. EA head Trip Hawkins coined the term "edutainment" to describe the game to the press.

I remember once, out of random searching I found the empire city or something like that. I walked very carefully to the chief and the game made a statement like "Congradulations you have found the empire city".
Yeah great I accidently bumped into him and the entire city turned on me. Shows what kind of conquistidor I would of made. LOL

Is there anyway to buy this game of even play it for free online somewhere? I loved this game. Couldn't remember the name for like 20 yrs...and then one day found it. Now I just can't find it at all.

@azuarc c64 DOT COM does, but you'll need a decent music player with chiptune support. Either [recommended] Foobar2000 with the SID Decoder component or WinAMP with the ChipAMP suite.

oh my god i got lost when playing in the "new" new world, like NOT the real united states, froze up and unplugged our Atari XL1200 and went downstairs, crying telling my dad "i broke the computer dad cause i got lost!!" haha, good memories, i was 9 years old. :)

I remember I found at least one city back when I was a kid playing this, you end up with a giant cache of gold.
