Charmaine Yoest, Vice President of Communications for the Family Research Council, on FOX News to discuss Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney's potential 2008 presidential bid.
Mitt Romney hasn't changed is mind....when he ran for Massachusetts governor in 2002 he said, "On a personal basis, I don't favor abortion," he said. "However, as governor of the commonwealth, I will protect a woman's right to choose under the laws of the country and the commonwealth. That's the same position I've had for many years." Source: Erik Arvidson, Lowell Sun Mar 20, 2002 It seems to me he kept his word dispite his personal convictions. Finally a politician who keeps his promises!
Why do people speak as if him being a Mormon could be a bad thing? All it means is that he has high standards that he will stick up for. It seems that is what America needs to me. Mitt 08
