Masquerade

Man I have had this thing sitting on my flash drive since '09.

This is Masquerade, Sumire's iconic song from the Beni Tokage musical*. It is sultry and sexy and incredibly awesome. You can practically close your eyes and see Sumire sashaying down the staircase at some kind of elegant villains' party. If you did not love Sumire before this song, YOU SHOULD.

I must also say that I am partial to Sakura's version of this from the 2001 Shinshun Kayou Show, but this is still my favourite. And let's not get into the Kanna's delusion version of this, unless you want to see Sumire waddling around in an oversized Barney costume. Which, admittedly, sounds hilarious. :V

*Actually, it isn't. But it should be. Thanks to Ogawa Burukku for noting this in her reviews of the Complete Song Box.
