@sonof9411 American Pie 1 - 3 is actually the story based on the writer, the movie was once called East Great falls High i think... which is why it contains some certain morals and you know buddy pacts...

many ppl esp critics think american pie franchise is shallow, tasteless and awful but what they don't understand is that these films, esp AP 1-3 for me, represented a time, a moment and a memory for us. I grew up watching it, it also taught me certain morals, reminded me of certain pacts made with friends. And all these can't be measured with ratings, reviews and what not. Because if you do, then i feel sorry for you cos you missed out on these moments
