I'm surprised how bouncy and fun this version is.

I've been enjoying listening to it as part of the Pick'n'Mix selection on BBC Radio 2's Radcliffe & Maconie show this week and had a picture in my head that if Tunng ever made a music video for 'Bullets' it'd be a bit like the film 'The Prestige' with some magician going through his tricks and then trying to escape a Chinese water torture cell (and failing).

"Tinariwen" is the plural of "Ténéré" and the word "Ténéré" means desert but not only desert,also "country" or "countryside" the group has being together since 1979 and were living in Tamanrasset in the south of algeria. then after a complex sequence of events they came back to mali to fight a rebellion in 1990.
