@dljones33 home brew snobs.

mmm, I'm drinking coopers stout now. I like craig's videos because most of the other videos are 'scratch brew' for the very experienced connoisseur; not cobbers like me who are just trying to avoid ridiculous alcohol tax.

Hello Craig! I must say, I´ve watched alot of your videos and they´ve helped ALOT. Made 2 batches of beer kits, 1. one down the drain, one darn good and one on the way. Your videos helped me make that second batch just damn good. But I have a question related to the Coopers Irish Stout. The instructions recommend 500 gr. of dry malt and 300 gr. of dextrose. They didn´t have dry malt but they had 100% liquid malt, 1.5 kg wich I bought. Would it be ok to use that straight from the can?

@Pierogihead This isnt needed with Extract kits, the extract already has the malt boiled into the extract thus we needent boil unless a partial or all grain is done

No Boiling of wort method? I thought most all brewing beer methods required boiling the wort.??

Hey Craig, great vid! just wondering could i rack your brain for a minute, now i actually got this kit but wont be brewing it until the new year,and i will be tinkering around with the ingredients so to speak. now on the tin it says 500g DME, 300g Dextrose. now i have 2 types of DME, light and dark, 1kg of dark actually came with the kit. should i use all 1kg of dark DME?what i was also thinking was 500g Dark DME,300g Dextrose,or 500g Dark DME, 300g Dex, 200g Malto Dex.any suggestions?

@CraigTube Hi Craig, I preboiled these in a hop tea before Hand and my Irish stout turned out lovely. I am going to brew a cherry wheat beer now. I have some heritage lager kit with wheat beer yeast and hallertau hop tea sitting in my fermenter. when would you add the cherries?? I was thinking of freezing 3Ib of them, allowing them to thaw, then adding them to my primary or secondary in 20 days...

@thecrazyredneck0079 Shit, you better tend to that then. Try nail polish, it works wonders in Hondas. :) You need a lot tho.

Hi Craig great video and guide, I love your vids. I am going to brew this Irish Stout myself in the coming week. I have a quick question..... I enjoy a good oatmeal/porridge stout, I would like to know is it possible to add progress hops to the mix at the start.... would you recommend doing this? could it potentially spoil it? Thanks

@dexmeisterPlus Are you looking at bittering with the hops, or adding aroma/flavour? Adding hops to these beer kits is a great idea.

Hey Craig I enjoy your videos, I'm a breed myself, I have been brewing for little less than two years now and was wondering what's the easiest beer you've made, I just brewed up a batch of wheat beer

@WolfTheAtheist Any of the extract kits, like Coopers are simple. The Festa Brew kits are ridiculous. You just add yeast. Doesn't get any easier than that.
