Ethnic Stereotypes

School project involving us, the students, to represent the assigned ethnic group (that we researched) and stereotypes commonly associated with each group, which were refuted.

we just had the Irish Catholics as a choice, so we addressed the issue with the Catholic label.

this is a ridiculous representation of the irish!! it takes at least 5 shots before we get tipsy, in fact anyone visibly drunk on 3 shots is deported, true story.

i have muslim-american friends (born in america) who are stopped at the airport and taken to the side to have their luggage checked separately from other travelers. the checkpoints happen, maybe not to the exagerated extent of my movie, but it happens.

i actually have muslim cousins, and i went under the same proseidures they went through.

and the only muslims that are being checked probably arent american, i believe any non american should be treated to those procedures

for the project we had our choices of which ethnic group to pick, and we were assigned to groups... needless to say those ethnic groups present in the movie were our assigned groups. secondly the airport security does happen to muslims more than other races, get our from under your rock and you'll know. and thirdly, each ethnic group was researched, are you going to argue with research?
