Dreamcast is still the most alive and kicking dead gaming system.

As for the Dreamshell - I don't like it. Too much effort was put into the visual part of it, not enough for usability. It's a pain that you have to navigate the cursor using your controller's analog. That's why I use a different piece of software for browsing the SD content. It's called "Dreamcast SD Loader" (by jj1odm) and it might remind you a bit of DOS Norton Commander (or Midnight Commander for Linux). It's much simpler in use.

One thing the SD card reader is mighty useful for is homebrew developement. No more wasting CDs for testing new builds of your software. And even if you used a multi-session CD to limit the number of wasted CDs, the process of burning to a CD still takes a lot more time than just copying a binary on the SD and booting it up almost instantly.

@mattjf09 Mode 2 tends to work better.

@AdamKoralik I put mode on 1 toc on cd-da raw write settings. still nothing. dreamcast turns on white screen then to the menu were it wont recognize the disk but regular games work fine
