Picked up a Lotus Evora and took it on the road to see if it's "worthy"...well...IT IS!! Great car! Now I'm a bit of a purist and can get a little excessive when it comes to performance and handling, so I still think the Exige is the car for me, but I do also love this car and think it:

Looks great
Very comfortable
Decent level of luxury
Sounds Great(Considering it's a Camry engine)

Great job Lotus. You added luxury without sacrifices too much!

[NOTE: Normally I don't work with dealers. I personally have not had the best experiences in the past, but this was a new car and none of my friends had bought any yet. So, I worked with the British racing group, Sports & Specialist Cars and Premier Lotus on this episode. I also worked with Group Lotus PLC. Thank you all for your help with this episode. I must say I was disapointed with Lotus as far as communication. They were very unresponsive and i was shocked to get voicemail for days. In thier defense they were at the LA show, but still I don't expect to ever be consistently getting voicemail for a large corporation. That being said, I still love the cars and would buy them as long as they continue delivering driving excitement!]

  • Damn I just LOVE Lotus Cars!!! Went around the Lotus stand at the IAA 2011 and I am going to drive the new Evora S soon. Think I won´t be able not to start drifting =D

  • @93hoopy I'm always glad to hear another Lotus Enthusiast! They are so appreciated but yet to me they deliver a LOT more than cars 3 times the price. The $200,000 exotics are usually just focused on power and looks. This car doesn't have big HP but decent power/weight ratio. It ALSO has reliability, efficiency AND cost excellence. Can't think of any big exotic that comes too close. MAYBE the NEW Gallardos, but they are heavy compared to these and gas guzlers and EXPENSIVE. :)

  • i love lotus evora !!!\

  • @alizasweeto You have great taste! :)

  • Dam you're one lucky mother **** :P Sounds great, it roars.

  • @ProjectDFanPage Yeah I don't know how they do it, but they sure know how to make small efficient and RELIABLE engines SING! Amazing!

  • @carlylespicks I fell in love with the Esprit V8. Then when I saw the first Elise I was really disappointed because I didn´t like it at all. After several facelifts I liked the Elise, too, but when I saw the new Lotus Esprit announced for 2013 I just forgot about everything before. It is just a MASTERPIECE of Lotus an in my Opinion the greatest car ever built. It is a little faster than the Porsche 911 GT2 RS (997) and costs nearly 100.000€ less. And I know I´m going to get one =P

  • @0XxBesTofTheRestxX0 lol ok, child.

  • @scd6969 Get off his case cause he sat in that car before you.
