What academies do is force a child to pick what they want to do in the 9th grade. It forces them to rush and will probably go along with something they don't really want to do or will probably end up not doing. We don't get the chances to take the classes we REALLY want too because we're focused on all the classes we NEED to take. but the school system makes them seem AMAZING and like they're the best things in the world..we need to get rid of this system..
