Trix N Scale K4 - Motor and Gearing upgrade

N Scale Minitrix 4-6-2 K4 with upgraded Maxon coreless motor and new finer-ratio worm and compound gear. Top speed at 12v=112 scale mph (stock engine is 180!) Minimum speed about 4 mph.

@Rdodo67 motor and gear set available from micro loco motion, and I do the frame reaming and new motor and gear installation as a service for a fee (if you don't want to do it yourself)

@Rdodo67 The motor is a Maxon 12 x 20mm, don't know the exact number on it. The worm is new, and the compound idler gear is new.

This motor and gear set is available from micro-loco-motion and I offer a service where I will do this upgrade for a fee.

what size motor did you use? Did you use the same worm from the original motor?
