Second Life Hair Fair 2010

Every time there is a Fair in Second Life the organizers try to get too cute while building it. People just want to go and to see the new products. No one cares about the cute decor if they are not able to get in at all. No one cares about the multi prim buildings if they cannot move. No one cares if they cannot even see anything. The products cannot be tried on let alone bought because all of the images do not even load. No one can get into the sim because everyone takes hours to try to shop, when it should take a fraction of that time.

I tried for a full day to get into the sim. When I finally did, the images still had not rezzed *become visible* after two hours. I could barely move. What you see in this film is the fastest I could move the entire time. Meanwhile I only saw one tiny part of one sim. There were three sims in the Fair. Clearly something is wrong. I hope the organizer of the next Fair in Second Life will care about lag and not how creative they can build. You are only losing if no one can buy.

@kagomeYu All of the hair cost L$. A few gifts were there but those were often 1 L$ sometimes 0 L$. But not all stalls had gifts. The gifts were not always hair that was pretty. In other words, can't pick which hair is 1 or 0 L$. So basically the answer is no. The hair you see in the pictures and on the panels is all regular price like in the SL shops. BTW sometimes you will see a pop up window and if you look closely you can see I am buying a Demo or a gift, and in some cases it's either 1 or 0 Linden $ for either.
