If you knew anything about the conversion you would know that it is lighter than the original 1800cc engine and trans. At 2250 lbs with some 3.4 60degree v6 pushing 225hp neither this 2.8 or a modded 3.4 is just a straight line machine. They run auto-x events and kick ass.
The later gen alum almost weighs the same and needs conversion to run RWD.
This install is simple,fun,and will most likely outrun anything you drive.

if he says chevrolet one more time!! lol. surely that MGB's engine is cast iron therefore it'll handle like a bitch. im sure its good in straight line though. I'd go for an aluminium engine and gain better power to weight ratio and better handling too

i love that 69 impala ss my dad still has his 427 a/c car as well! The last of the go fast muscle impala ss! I had a major argument with this guy who swore he owned a 1970 impala ss 454 and i told him there was no such thing!

only made from 60-66 same years the V12 was made good engines there was even a 472 or something like that that was a v6 they sounded awsome if you ever come a cross one keep it!
