  • @Archfvckinggoat I fail to see the glory in soccer (true football). I'm just not a fan at all. But I can see them trying to lure the viewers from one sport to another like you described.

  • @ddut887 Yeah, but besides the fact the World Cup was starting two days after this game and they are broadcasting the entire thing. I think it did a perfect job or merging the glory of the Stanley Cup, which would come soon, and the glory of the World Cup, which would soon begin. It was an opportune time to attract members of the hockey audience to the World Cup.

  • A for effort, but F for relevance. Soccer has nothing to do with hockey.
