Why would it prove that humans don't have souls? Why can't souls find a clone like it finds a human being made naturally? Just a thought.... :)
-
@ScreamFlip No, that was not the point you were gettin' at: you said to me that cloning was partly suppossed to heal injures and replace body parts, and then you wrote that the big debate was about if the clones are people or not, but what Onision is gettin' at is if cloning do become legal, christianity would have to change, in order to explain cloning. Wich is BS...
He's just pointing out why religious people should not be so scarred of cloning, cuz they would change their beliefs anyway.

@goejser97 Mhm yeah i agree with you a life is a life, but anything that could be disproven by cloning has already been disproven since its been shown that its possible, which was the point i was getting at
-
@ScreamFlip Yes I get it, but you should not give someone life and then JUST kill that life, just for sake of healing an already way to big ppopulation, I find that shallow.
And this vid is not about the moral discussion of cloning, it's about making religious people realize how stupid their baground for being agianst cloning is, because if cloning do become legal it would disprove allot of their belliefs, just like Onision says...

Um thats not exactly wat the big debate is about at all but of course u would try and poke fun at religions(Im not religious but thats really fuckin ignorant of him as usual) The debate is that if they clone a human, which they already have on mutiple animals, the debate is if that person is just a clone, or if theyre considered people too. Idk if i explained that right but its centerd around that idea, are clones just shells of copies of people or are they just lk u and me
-
@goejser97 Thats true but ur missing the point that people want to clone to replace body parts and things lk that because of deseases or accidents
-
honestly as much as the si-fi nerd in me would like to see it happen, the entire concept creeps me right out, and for way more reason than i could express in 500 words

For the first time you have actually made Sense

I`d clone myself :] it`d be awesome to speak to a person that understands me :P
-
@goejser97 No it wouldn't, cloning is basically getting someone pregnant with a creature's DNA instead of sperm. They would still have to wait 9 months for the baby and it would grow just as fast as anyone else.
The whole idea that a persons being cloned would show that there is no such thing as a soul seems sortof hard to understand to me. A soul is supposed to be a persons conscioussness and the essence of who they are. A clone might have been just a physical copy of a person, but that doesnt mean it's not a person too. If it can think, feel, love, and hate, then it has a soul. I just dont think human cloning is correct, because people are thinking of just using them (clones) for spare body parts.

Funny... it seems religion parallels science in the sense that they both change when proven wrong. Who's to say either one is right or wrong?
