http://www.DadLabs.com - The birth of a new baby isn't just a life changing experience for parents. For the siblings of a newborn baby brother or baby sister, a new member of the family can be quite an overwhelming experience. So what's the best way to prepare your kids for the new addition? Daddy Brad shares his ideas on how to break the pregnancy news and offers a few tips on how to smooth the road for your expanding family. Suggestions include showing them around the hospital, taking them on an obgyn visit, and projects to welcome the baby. Daddy Brad also recommends a children's book that parents can use. DadLabs ep 446 "Quality Time" brought to you by Baby Bjorn. Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • my mom waited for me to come home and said "I'm pregnant"

  • sex+pregnacy=baby

  • That show freaks me out lol. Now they have 18 kids..and their eldest is married :l

  • You totally look like the dad on 17 Kids and Counting! Except not creepy :)

  • I think it's a good idea to wait until you're far enough along that the risk of miscarriage is lowered... after 12wks... that way they don't have to go through it if it happens.

Forget OUR baby... with my oldest, I told him it was HIS baby... and it worked so well.

When my daughter came, it was the same thing... I totally focused on it being THEIR baby... and how proud we were that that they were going to be big brothers (especially the younger one, who would be more jealous)
