Michael Arrington thinks that Chrome OS will destroy Windows. I think he's a fool who's flat wrong.

  • I wonder if Mike Arrington has been beta testing Chrome OS Troll Edition for free. Let's get full disclosure out of the way.

  • Troll Edition? I like that.

  • Because of character limits, I decided to go with a two parter. I dislike Mike Arrington as much as I dislike Apple and their shiny line of iBricks. But that doesn't change the fact that both Microsoft and Google both realize our current interface is dead wrong. We love the taskbar because a.) it's what we're used to and b.) nothing better is widespread yet. That will change, just as mice and keyboards inevitably will be replaced with neural input, and it's naive to think we're already done.

  • I realize this is really old, but this video shows almost a complete lack of vision. Computers are a really new thing still, and to say that Windows got it right already is very wrong. I love Windows, and struggle myself to see a future where we no longer have a desktop or desktop icons, but trust me, the day is coming. High end 3D games are running in WebGL, thanks to faster and faster internet speeds, and many complex programs can be, will be, or already have been ported to javascript.

  • Fucking Amazing!

  • mrhogg you're being a deeyock talking the way you do in this vid about "mouth full of cock" and such, not really funny or relevant.

Re; Google cloud computing - great email client and calendar but if the rest of their cloud apps are anything like Google Docs, they will be ugly and slow and require multi-clicks to unfold and access features. My reason for returning to Firefox and dumping Chrome? No place to grab the window top with lots of tabs, no free VideoDownloadhelper, no free AdBlock.

  • @jkirk Yeah I know. These are the best in the tech world to interview the big heavyweights? Wonder how they got the gig

  • whats up with the voice?

  • Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher are the most disastrous hosts I've ever seen. Both interrupt like fiends whose mothers never taught them that it's rude to interrupt. Kara Swisher was even more useless during the All Things Digital interview in 2007 with Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. The Wall Street Journal is a world class publication. It's amazing that these two clowns are the best the WSJ can come up with to interview titans of industry.

  • Awesome!! Pwned by a puppet and deservedly so!

  • Haha wow small world! Yeah I've been running Ubuntu for about the same time too, love messing around with the Jack audio stuff and managed to revive an old laptop bought at Goodwill with a copy of Xubuntu (take that Windows 98). Oh check your Facebook I found you lol
