  • good video, I have some old coleman white gas lanterns and they do the same thing only not as bad.Ive stunk the house out a time or two myself.

  • Hi,

    I had just brought the lantern in from a super cold outdoors, and failed to warm the generator enough. Then, when I pumped it more, the super cold kerosene, (paraffin) sucked whatever heat there was, out of the thing, and the vaporization process stopped, resulting in a liquid burn.
