Gig Log - High School Dance

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to DJ some dances at a local high school. Here is footage of me setting everything up. I did not get a chance to film any footage during the actual show, but will try to do that next time.

@M1cha91 The monitors are used as preview monitors. They are connected to the DVJs so I can preview the videos, select stored cue points, etc.

hey is Sonic brand is good? look like it's not as good as EV or JBL but i don't know much about sonic can you help?

@SWATPhantom I personally love my sonic speakers. They are well made and I have never had any issues with them. The top cabs I am using now have been in use since the mid 90's with no issues.

Nice Set Up Bro! I Am A DJ In Iowa. I Have Done A Lot Of High School And Middle School Dances Over My 3 1/2 Years In The Greatest Business Of All Time. I Am A Senior In High School And Will be Graduating This Spring In 2012. I Have Been A DJ Since I Was In 8th Grade. I Have Found Out That it is More Fun And Enjoyable To DJ Middle School And High School Dances because They All Know The Music Sometimes More Then i Do Myself And They Always Get Into The Song And Dance All Night Long.

Hey, nice setup, but what's wrong with some parcans? I mean, everybody says to me parcans are the basic of light effects, start whit some parcans en buy then some effects. The reason is that you can't create enough light with only some effects. And when I'm partying, I hate it when I can't see my friends (OK, it must be dark, but not that dark). Another question I had: why did'nt you use that nice stage behind you to stay on? I think your gear would be safer, becouse people can't touch it then.
